Holy Snowballs!!!

I know that they are saying 18" but I'll tell you it looks more that 2.5 feet!  It was too high for the snow blower, we had to knock down the snow with a shovel to blow it.  Thank god I have wonderful friends that are my neighbors.  They are always there to help.  I'm blessed to know them and have them in my life.

One of my Mother's very big pine trees came down and landed on her neighbors property.  Thank god it missed the house.  I think it took down the fence and a tree house play gym they had.

Hope everyone is safe in their homes.  We are all okay here.  Haven't gotten to the store yet, but I'm sure everything is fine there.  We will be open again on Tuesday with the beginning of our End of Year Sale.

Save 25% off your entire order, no coupon necessary.
Sale ends Sunday, January 2, 2011

Computer is back!

For those of you that haven't heard, my main business computer died on Sunday. Of course it is an older computer running the Unix operating system so parts are not available.  Thank God I didn't throw out an old computer still in the store that wasn't being used about the same age. Just last week I asked my sister if I should toss it and she convinced me to hold on to it for a while.  Thank you Sherie.  I'm a tosser, if I haven't used it in two years it is out the window.  Sherie is a keeper.

Of course it had to be the motherboard, which is a computers heart. Yesterday I was like a mad scientist.  I had 2 computers on the tables and all their parts pulled out of them.  I managed to rebuild a computer with mixed guts.  Motherboard from this one, hard drive, cables and network card from that one,  and voila!  All is right in the universe for the time being.:)
